Pastor Jared Webb leads the Prayer ministry emphasis at Master’s Community Church and regularly preaches and teaches during Equipping Hour and Master’s Kids Sunday School classes as well as leads a weekly MCG small bible study group. 

By GOD’s amazing grace, Jared came to recognize the sin in his life, repent of his sin against GOD and came to personally know and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior in early 2003 at the age of 23.  Ever since Jared has been on a journey to become a more learned and better disciple of Jesus and continues to desire to learn more and more about the Bible, Jesus and the Christian faith every day.

Jared and his wife, Melody, were members of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church located in Kansas City, MO for 15 years from 2003 until 2018.  At SGBC, Jared served in the positions of deacon and associate pastor.  Jared, Melody and their family joined Master’s Community Church as members in 2018 and Jared was ordained as an elder in early 2021.    

Jared is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kansas with an undergraduate degree in Journalism with an emphasis in marketing and business communications.  Currently, Jared is a part-time student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary working towards a Masters of Divinity degree.  Jared is considered a lay elder / pastor at MCC and currently also works as a sales manager and advertising consultant with The Kansas City Star.

Jared and Melody are both life-long Kansas City natives born and raised.  Jared grew up in De Soto, KS, a small bedroom community outside of Kansas City.  Melody grew up in Gladstone, MO, a suburb of Kansas City.  Jared and Melody were married in 2005.  They have two daughters, Rebekah and Abigail, and they all currently live in Olathe, Kansas.
