Outreach

Every believer and every Evangelical church desires to see God use them to draw people to Himself. This is normal Christianity (Matt. 28:18-20; Col. 4:5-6), and the MCC is no different. We structure our ministry such that Outreach takes center stage in the summer months, a time when it is natural to engage neighbors, co-workers, friends and family. Our adult Sunday School (Equipping Hour) and home groups (Master’s Community Groups) organize training and events to help us share the gospel individually and corporately. We keep each other accountable to prioritizing evangelism, and assist one another in sharing Christ in our businesses, communities, and families.

We recognize that the message of Christ is to be taken beyond KC into all the world (Rom. 15:22-33; Col. 4:2-3). We give prayer and financial support to several ministry endeavors. As a Southern Baptist Church we are committed to supporting Cooperative Program, the Kansas City Kansas Baptist Association, and the International Mission Board through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We support Bible Translation in Southeast Asia (Wycliffe) and Western Europe (Pioneers and H.I.M.), collegiate ministries in the US (Red Village Church Collegiate Ministries), China ( Northwest China Teachers), and Africa (African Christian University), and the women of the developing world through Project Patricia.
