On the road to Jerusalem, Jesus exhorted the crowds to respond faithfully to Him while they had the chance—even if it would mean societal rejection (vv. 22-30)—since the time for Him to be rejected and killed in Jerusalem was drawing near (vv. 31-33) and salvation is found in Him alone (vv. 34-35).
