My name is Jared Webb.  My wife, Melody, and I have been members of The MCC since August 2018 and I have been on the Elder team since February 2021.  Currently I lead The MCC Prayer ministry.  I enjoy deeply engaging with our church body in leading and teaching them how to respond to GOD in prayer. 

My wife and I are both life-long Kansas City natives, born and raised.  I grew up in a small bedroom community just outside of Kansas City.  Melody grew up in Gladstone, MO, a suburb of Kansas City.  We were married in 2005 and have two daughters, Rebekah (age 12) and Abigail (age 9). We currently live in Olathe, Kansas.  We all love spending time outdoors and opening up our home to guests over a great meal!  I love to grill especially a good steak!  When time and opportunity permit, I enjoy getting outdoors and golfing.  

By GOD’s amazing grace, I came to personally know and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior in early 2003 at the age of 23.  Ever since I have been on a journey to become a more learned and better disciple of Jesus and I continue to desire to learn more about the Bible, Jesus and the Christian faith every day.  I desire to be called a man of prayer and actively seek GOD daily by reading HIS word and responding to HIS word in prayer. 

Currently, I am also a part-time student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary working towards a Masters of Divinity degree.  I also work as a sales manager and advertising consultant with The Kansas City Star News Media Company.  I am a 2001 graduate of the University of Kansas with an undergraduate degree in Journalism with an emphasis in marketing and business communications.
