Pastor Alan Noble

By God’s grace, Alan Noble was born into a Christian family where he trusted Jesus for salvation early in life. However, it wasn’t until his late 20’s, during a life changing study in the book of Hebrews, where he became more fully aware of what it meant to walk as a Christian.

Alan was educated at William Paterson University, a liberal arts institute in Northern New Jersey, and received a B.A. in education, with a certificate to teach elementary school. In 1969, he began a career in public elementary education in New Jersey. In 1973, he received an M.A. in Communication Arts. Later, he earned a certificate in supervision.

One of Alan’s greatest joys has been participating in church choirs. He directed his first choir concert in 1963. Directing became Alan’s primary avocation, and he spent many delightful years gaining experience as a choir director and worship leader.

After retirement, the Nobles sold their property in New Jersey and moved into a motorhome. Eight years were spent traveling, where Alan did some writing, and teaching in a Christian School in Texas. In 2008, they returned to New Jersey and moved in with Alan’s mother-in-law. Her health was failing, and she could no longer live alone. His wife served as her primary caregiver while he was the caretaker of the house and grounds and taught for two years in a nearby Christian academy.

After her death in 2013, the Nobles moved to Kansas City, near their younger daughter and family.

Alan is married to his devoted wife Kathie. Together they raised two God-fearing daughters and now enjoy six delightful grandchildren.
