Today we celebrate the birth of our King
And dwell on such an uncommon thing.
God… who came down to earth
A world full of darkness, needing new birth.
To take on humility as a man
Part of His eternal plan.
To restore creation to it’s origin
As He does all things according to His vision.
He gave us a child who would save us all
From Adam’s sin and creation’s fall.
A precious and mysterious story
That is all true and for His glory.
This child grew and became a man
Turned the world upside down by His Father’s hand.
To a broken people true peace He did bring
The humble servant who became our High King.
