Jim Langdon

We started going to Masters Community Church in 2005, but it was several years before we became members. I am working with the leadership team to take care of regularly scheduled maintenance of the church building and grounds. It gives me the opportunity to paint and use other skills to bless our fellowship and glorify God.

I was born in Louisiana and moved several times until settling in Missouri. I accepted Christ when we lived in Wichita, Kansas at Clifton Heights Baptist Church. I believe, however, that my true conversion took place much later in life. My wife is Diane, a wonderful blessing. We have two sons, David 36, and Russell 34. We have been blessed with three grandsons; Micah 9, Gabe 6, and Archer 3 months. I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, and seeing new places. I excel at vacationing.

I became involved in the ministry when it became apparent that our facilities deacon needed help because of his many responsibilities. I was asked by the leadership team to assist in this area and was  able to help with some of the duties. My position was formalized as deacon last year. I love this body of believers and hope to serve for many years to come.
