Pastor Alan Noble

My name is Alan Noble. My wife, Kathie and I have been members of The MCC fellowship since the spring of 2015. Currently, I serve on the facilities sub-committee. Along with Adam Anderson, I have oversight of deacons as they minister over the needs of the physical plant.
By God’s grace, I was born into a Christian family in Northern New Jersey where I trusted Jesus for salvation early in life. I was educated at William Paterson University, in New Jersey, and received a B.A. in education, with a certificate to teach elementary school. I met Kathie prior to my senior year, and we were married in 1970. Besides teaching, my greatest joy has been participating in church choirs. I directed my first choral concert in 1963 and spent many delightful years gaining experience as a choir director and worship leader.
During much of my youth and through my 20’s I worked part time with my plumber dad and other contractors (Ugh!). About that time, God used a life-changing study of Hebrews, to “smack” me in the head and show me what it means to walk by the Spirit. But how would experience in teaching, construction, music, and a neurotic sense of order play out for the Lord? Eventually, all the elements came together. We were led to Kansas City in 2014. In 2015, I offered to create a choir for a Christmas celebration. The elders liked the result and asked me to intern for eldership and became an elder in February 2017.
